Easy to build

Hive was not damaged but the box looked like they had thrown it off of the truck.

The hive is great. This is the second one I have ordered from MayBee. One of the pieces was damaged in shipping and they sent me a whole new deep hive box to replace the broken piece. It got here super fast with no hassle.

Just assembled. Happy with the quality of the boxes. They were easy to put together. Now just need to fill with bees.

I needed two more hives for this upcoming spring and found these at a really good price. I did not want to have to paint hives and was looking for wood that I wanted to varnish or wax. These were advertised as coded in wax and weatherproof. While they've only been in my garage so far, I have no doubts in my mind about their ability to stand up to weather and their waterproofing. There's a nice thick layer of wax covering every piece on the outside. The frames all went together. No problems or complaints. Everything was intact, no pieces were missing, and I have more than enough nails left over to make repairs. I think these hives are very high quality and will serve me well for years to come.

The beehives themselves appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately, the shipping is another issue. We’ve had traditional problems with FedEx and destroyed packages upon arrival and this was no different. Four of the 14 boxes were damaged. We did have a good delivery person who said that she collected as many parts as she could on the loading conveyor floor and placed them back in the boxes.

All the components arrived, and the beehives appear to be good quality. However, five of the 14 boxes were severely damaged during shipping. We’ve had horrible luck with FedEx in the past with other large boxes. We had a thoughtful driver who found many of the pieces under the conveyor belt at the sorting facility, and attempted to put them back in the boxes and tape them up.
