I love the maybee hives! Really seems to be a great product. The only down side is that I payed for the"worry free" insurance, and It has been a hassle. My packet delivered with the equipment practically falling out of the damaged box. If it wasn't for the tape holding it together. I ended up with a damaged bottom board amongst other pieces that were damaged. It's been a month and I'm still going back and forth with responses trying to get this made right.

First- customer service was OUTSTANDING! I made a mistake, and it was remedied with equipment in route. Next- After receiving my corrected order (Remember, my fault), I was blown away with the quality of all parts. Assembly was easy, all parts fit exactly, which i honestly didn't expect, since they are imported. Beeswax was applied and appeared to be soaked in, and was heavily coated. I had seen other imported hives and they weren't nowhere as nice as these. These are easily as nice as anything made here in US. Excellent dovetails, and other joint areas. Completely satisfied. Will be my go-to from now on.

So these boxes have several things going for them that I feel make them superior. The box parts are made from cedar, and are coated with beeswax, as well as the plastic foundations. The connections on the boxes actually have a dove tail, which I haven’t seen elsewhere, also the holes are pre-drilled and recessed for screws, also all the hardware comes with it. Note: There was damage to the parts in shipping, they sent them out quickly as I had immediate need to home a new package I was due to pickup. Very happy with customer service response.
