Do bees have brains?

1. Brain discourse.
Bees have brains. Honeybee is a common insect. Its body consists of three parts: head, chest and abdomen. It has a pair of antennae, two pairs of wings and three pairs of feet. The head has a brain, but it does not have the real "brain" of higher animals. Rather, it is a ganglion formed by a large number of nerves, which simply do not have the ability to "think". It is more just a stress response to stimulation.
2.Bee colony structure.
Honeybees are social insects, and the colony is composed of a queen bee, a small number of drones and a large number of worker bees. no individual can survive alone after opening a colony, in which the queen bee is mainly responsible for laying eggs and secreting queen bee pheromones to maintain the order of the colony. Drones are mainly responsible for mating and dying after mating with the new queen bee, while worker bees are responsible for collecting flowers and nectar, building hives, feeding larvae, resisting enemies and other work.
3. Life habits.
(1) gregariousness: honeybees are typical gregarious insects, and no individual can survive independently without the colony. For example, the queen bee will starve to death after leaving the worker bee, and a honeybee is equivalent to a cell. In fact, honeybees also evolved on a population basis.
(2)sociality: honeybees are typical social insects, which are composed of workers, drones and queens, in which workers are responsible for almost all work, drones are responsible for mating with new queens, and queens are responsible for spawning and secreting queen bee pheromones to maintain population order.
(3)nesting: honeybees are typical nesting insects, whether feeding larvae or storing food can not be separated from the hive. The honeycomb is composed of several or more than ten parallel and perpendicular to the ground nest spleen, and the nest spleen is composed of a series of closely arranged nests.
(4)Food storage: honeybees are typical food storage insects. In the season when honey sources are abundant, bees will collect a large amount of pollen and nectar and store them in the hive. When there is a lack of honey sources or weather and other factors are not suitable to come out of the hive, the bees will feed on the stored food.
